Client: Abed Khalatbari
With a natural gift for commercial interior design, Abed Khalatbari wore many hats as owner, designer and manager on a variety of projects. One of these projects is family-owned coffee shop franchise, Café Nush an upmarket coffee shop and restaurant in Harare, Zimbabwe. Started in 2010 in Avondale, the café serves up an authentic and cosy atmosphere, some of the best coffee around and amazing food with a twist of Persia.
Visiting Café Nush in Highlands Park, the central space of the restaurant celebrates the versatility of wood. The curves of our Abbey and Riga chairs add softness and create a well-balanced aesthetic that draws you into the space.
When discussing what he looks for in restaurant furniture, Abed puts comfort, style, durability, simplicity and uniqueness at the top of his list. Quality and character in furniture was always a huge attraction and hence the appeal of Woodbender’s elegant products.
