The process of steaming and bending wood has been used to manufacture wooden furniture since the 19^th Century in Europe. Today in South Africa, our company continues to practice this age-old tradition of bending solid timber for our unique collection of bentwood chairs and stools. For over 30 years, South Africans have been incorporating Woodbender products into their homes and contract environments throughout the country.
