Robertson Wine Valley, Western Cape
Client: Gera De Wet
Mont Blois wine estate is situated in the Robertson Wine Valley in South Africa. The wine tasting room was built in converted animal feed silos dating back to 1947.
The tasting room colour palette is symbolic of the grapes grown on the estate – sage green to symbolise the white grapes, violet to represent the red varietals, and touches of polished brass to portray the colour of Muscadel.
The seating required needed to be both functional and beautiful, padded, sturdy and to have arm rests. Woodbender’s Kariba and Riga’s were chosen for the application and were finished in a dark brown stain and upholstered in a vibrant violet fabric.
